Rest stops are a core part of the Dog Days Wine Tour experience. Each stop is designed to give riders a chance to refuel, hydrate, relax, and enjoy the unique character of Northeast Ohio wine country.
All routes include multiple, well supported rest stops staffed by friendly volunteers.

Rest stops are spaced to support a comfortable and enjoyable ride for all ability levels.
Select rest stops are hosted at local wineries and cider locations, offering a welcoming place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Featured stops include:
Wine sampling is available during posted hours. Samples are limited in size and riders are encouraged to hydrate, eat, and ride responsibly.
For riders on the 38, 50, and 62 mile routes, the Wakeman Elevator Pit Stop is a featured highlight.

The Wakeman Elevator Pit Stop does not offer wine transport.
Riders may purchase wine at participating winery stops.
Purchased bottles are transported to the finish area

Each rest stop operates within posted hours based on route distance and rider flow.
Riders starting very early may arrive before a stop opens
The final rest stop closes at 2:30 PM
