Elk Farm Ride

Start: Caley Reservation, LCMP

We'll ride to Bonnie Brae Elk Farm on Quarry Rd., Wellington where the Huszti family have been in the business of raising elk since 1991.  This is one of the farms three "Bugle Days" weekends when they open the farm for visitors.  See the elk, and you may hear the males bugling to attract the females.  There is an optional wagon ride at a cost of $10 where you can see the elk up close and feed them!  If you are interested in the wagon ride, you MUST let me know in advance.  The wagon ride group will be at the farm longer.  Those not interested in the wagon ride will leave after a short farm visit and Tom will lead that group for the return ride.  I plan to take the wagon tour (1/2 hour long plus we might have to wait for the next ride to leave) and I will lead the return bike ride for the wagon riders.  If there are more than 15 people who wish to go on the wagon ride, I need to make reservations in advance.   So, wagon riders, please notify me at:
