CHATHAM APPLE BUTTER FESTIVAL

Join us on a ride to the annual Chatham Apple Butter Festival.  This is the 50th year of the festival.  There are 3* and 4* rides going to the festival that same day from Oberlin.  Our earlier start should get us there at around 11 a.m.. We will start back around noon unless there is a compelling reason to stay longer.  Riders can purchase lunch, apple fritters, donuts, apples or whatever to eat.  Listen to blue grass music played by the Homerville All String Band - if you stay long enough.  Check out the arts & crafts vendors.  See the boiling cauldron of apple butter, continuously stirred by volunteers over an open fire.  Festival is free.

No sag wagon … If you purchase something to take home, you'll need to carry it on your bike.  Riding to Chatham previous years has been a very enjoyable ride.

Note: the rest rooms at Willow Park will probably be open, but be advised they are not open all year.

The weather looks decent but a bit crisp.
