Celebration of Life

Prior to the Celebration of  Life  a Memorial All Star Silver Wheels rides will be held beginning at 10:00 am from Sherod Park.  Ron led many Monday evening rides from Sherod Park in Vermilion, but with playground additions in the park and lack of restrooms,  Grace United Methodist Church across the street from Sherod has graciously agreed to allow us to use their parking lot and restrooms prior to the rides.  Please park in the back lot furthest from the church building at 13406 W. Lake Rd. Vermilion.

After the ride, please drive the 3 miles to the Olympic Outing Club.  All Silver Wheels Cycling Club members are invited to a Celebration of Life for Ron at noon at:

We will gather between 12:00-12:30 with a luncheon at 12:30. (A cook out, après ride biker casual attire most acceptable)

Join us for the ride and/or celebration luncheon if you are able. In the event of rain, the celebration luncheon will not be cancelled, (the hall is large).  

Contributions of side dishes, desserts or snacks will be most appreciated.  Someone will be on hand at the church to pick up food items needing refrigeration.
