NOT GOBA Week

This is a star-chase, where two rides of adjacent star level speeds use the same route.  Unlike a typical club ride, the leader of the faster ride will not slow the pace to accommodate riders unable to keep up, leaving them to be picked up by the trailing slower group.  The slower group will leave no rider behind.

Some busy roads are expected, including a one mile stretch on US 6, so please only ride with us if you are comfortable riding on roads with fast moving traffic. 

Stops at Fisher’s Pier, the Quarry, the Fish Hatchery, and the Blue Pool. Depending on the heat, at mile 24.5 I might decide to skip the Castalia Quarry and cut 6 miles off the route. After returning to Lion’s Park at mile 34, there is an optional 8 mile loop into downtown Sandusky. We might grab lunch somewhere in Sandusky during the 8 mile extension ride or maybe at the end of the extension ride at the Patina Porch which is less than a mile from Lyons Park.  Don’t forget to grab an ice cream at Toft's for your drive home.
