About the Teacher:
Larry Best is a retired high school teacher who has 58 years & close to 170,000 miles of cycling experience. He is a former racer, club rider, has done long distance tours, and has worked as a mechanic in a cycle shop. He is also a League of American Bicyclists Safe Cycling Instructor, and a long-time member of Silver Wheels Cycling Club.
About the Class:
Road Repairs
This class follows the same format as Care and Feeding, but is definitely more involved. In road repairs you’ll learn & demonstrate how to change a tire, repair a tube & boot a tire. You’ll also find out how to check for loose or too tight bearings, repair a chain, adjust brakes & derailleurs & more.

Payment is due the evening of the class. The money is used to reimburse me for materials used in the class. Please note that no credit cards, chickens, pigs, or vegetables will be accepted as payment.
