NOTE: the intersection of US 20 and 511 is closed so plan ahead for additional time to drive to Kipton for the shorter 27 mile route today starting from Kipton Park.
This ride is part of the third annual NOT GOBA ride series. Please watch the club calendar for changes to these rides, which may include route, time, star level, ride leader, etc. Changes made within 48 hours of a ride’s scheduled start time will be communicated through the newsgroup.
Ride will start from behind the Oberlin Bike Shop. Parking is also available behind FAVA. Please consider arriving early and shopping at OBS to support your local bike shop. After the ride, we may grab refreshments when Haven Brewery opens at 4:00 and try to talk them into naming a beer after Silver Wheels.

There was a slight change to Friday’s NOT GOBA time schedule if you are planning to leave from Kipton.
Friday’s 2/3+ star chase starting from behind the Oberlin Bike Shop has the option to leave from the Kipton Community Park. This will shorten the ride from 38 miles to 27 miles.
If you are planning on riding the 3+* starting from Kipton, please be ready for us to pass by around 1:20.
If you are planning on riding with Eva and the 2* group starting from Kipton, please be ready for them to pass by Kipton at 1:30.
There is no other planned stop on the route. Randy at the bike shop is expecting to see Silver Wheelers before the ride (after the ride is good too!). Sam at the brewery is expecting some riders to stop in around 4:00 when they open.
FYI - there is a free concert in Tappan Square starting at 6:00.

These rides are a star-chase. Both rides will use the same route. Unlike a typical club ride. the leader of the faster group will not slow the pace to accommodate folks unable to keep up, instead leaving them to be picked up by the trailing group. The trailing group will leave no rider behind.
