We will ride the Towpath southbound. It is a flat surface of compacted, crushed limestone.  

If we wish to stop at Szalay's Farm & Market for Ice Cream/ sandwich/ snack be advised they only take a check or cash. We pass Szalay's at mile 15 & mile 22.
