These rides are a star chase.  Both rides use the same route.  Unlike a typical Club ride, the leader of the faster group will not slow down for riders unable to maintain the pace, leaving them to be picked up by the trailing group.  The trailing group will leave no rider behind.

The route finishes coming north on Diagonal Rd. Any riders not wishing to go through the holiday displays can simply skip riding out & back at the Equestrian Ctr and turn into CVC going directly to the parking lot for 25 miles, instead of branching onto the Short Loop trail and then branching to the Children's Nature Discovery trail. The additional loops at CVC will be very slow...probably will be walkers & dog walkers on the trail too.  If people check out the holiday displays at end of ride the total miles will be 27.
