Saturday, July 11, will be the annual "Ride The Dog" event. This will be an opportunity for Club members to ride and review the routes for our annual invitational ride "Dog Days Wine Tour", (since we will be working on the day of the DDWT supporting the ride).
You can start your ride from the Oberlin Auto Zone lot. From there you can easily ride to Professor St. and pick up the route. Actual route starts at the college but we don’t have permission to park there. Please understand that this is basically an unsupported map ride (YOYO), with no real services or leaders. Rest stops may not be open to us in the early morning. It is advised to group up with others who wish to ride the chosen route at a similar pace. Folks intending to ride specific routes at certain times/paces and looking for companions will be posted here as known.

NOTE: Routes have changed somewhat so make sure you don’t use last year’s maps. We are also using a generic white arrow in some sections. You will find this between the start and the first winery (Matus). The white arrow will also be used after Vermilion Valley Vinyards rest stop leading back to the college. The white arrow indicates all routes follow.

Feel free to join me as I plan to ride the 38 mile route at a 2+ star pace this Saturday, July 11th, starting at 8 a.m. from the Oberlin CVS parking lot. Those who wish to cycle further can cut off in Wakeman for the 50/62 mile routes. Bob Burkhardt

Sue Schneider an I are planning on riding the 62 mile route starting at 6:45 from the Autozone parking lot at a 3- pace. Anyone is welcome to join us but the is a YOYO ride without a leader. Norm Diederich
