The 1st “midnight” ride of 2026 was so much fun members demanded I create a Midnight ride #2.  We assemble during Civil twilight and our “Midnight” is 9:30 pm.

Everyone/Anyone is welcome to join me for this “Vetting” ride. Please know this is a Vetting ride. If we discover issues in route we will correct on the fly so that Actual ride is error-free.

We have permission from the Metroparks Police to exceed the 11pm curfew by as many hours as we need. That said, my expectation is we are finishing 11:15pm

(The metroparks police  are viewing us as “cute, elderly” people that desire to ride their bikes at night.  I get the feeling they are so tickled at what we are doing that they might show up to cheer us on).

Midnight ride #2 RideWithGPS route

The defining feature of this 1* ride is to safely ride at night and enjoy an easy metropark ride. We will be on metroparks multipurpose trail 90% of the time but we do cross intersections so some interaction with cars is to be expected.
Night Gear/safety lights required.
There are four opportunities for Metroparks style Bathrooms roughly mile markers:   0, 4,10,14
